Let’s start with how cute these are! I love the vintage library-card look and the fact that they come with a variety of colors of tassels. The back is simply lined with a place to write notes, quotations, or titles of books to add to your TBR list! [Gift idea: Insert one in a book when you gift it!]
Nothing says cozy book nook like a soft pillow! The faux fur in the corners raises the bar on fun fall pillow covers! [Gift idea: It’s a set of two (at a great price!), so share one with a friend . . . and add a book mark or even a book!]
I confess to having a boatload of porch and couch and chair and patio pillows! (It’s such an easy way to add a pop of color and a fresh look for very little money.) I recently found these HUGE storage bags, and they are great for keeping my pillows ready to use! [Gift idea: These are great for kids going off to college or for friends/family who are moving!]
Any acacia-wood products will always be welcome in my home. The grain! The depth of the wood color! The durability! So of course, these versatile little bowls get LOTS of use at the Henderson house: chips, small salads, snacks, etc. The set of six makes them ideal for the whole family to use or for appetizer, snack, or dessert dishes when guests are here. [Gift idea: These make great gifts for newlyweds or they can be used as a housewarming gift.]
These are very lightweight, and they feel kind of “cheap” when you first pick them up. But the amber-colored jars create a soft glow that most flameless candles lack. I have mine sitting on two wooden sconces in our sunroom. (Yes, the inspiration for that sunroom!) With remote controlled brightness, timer, and power, I can turn them on in the morning, creating a cozy atmosphere for reading. Their lightweight plastic construction keeps the price extremely affordable. [Gift idea: Candles are great gifts for ANY and EVERY occasion!]
This adorable little wicker basket is for a lot more than just picnics! This is where I keep the book I’m currently reading, my daily planner, a set of my favorite highlighting tools (Twistables!), a few pens, a ruler, a stack of bookmarks, and a small pack of tissues (What . . . you don’t ever cry when you read?!). This basket is 14″ long, 10″ wide, and about 6″ tall. The two lids make access easy, and the sturdy handles let me take my “reading supplies” with me to any room in the house or to the park or coffee shop when I want to read in a fun location. [Gift idea: Place your favorite book, a ruler, a nice pen, and a little stack of bookmarks in the basket and give a friend a Reading Basket.]
